We’ve had quite a bit of rain this weekend. On Friday we had 1 inch here. On Saturday we only had .08 inchs here and so far today we have had about 1/4 inch but more is on the way.
Other areas of Southern Cal have had a lot more rain but getting 1 inch in a day is quite a bit for us. I see Phoenix is getting our storm now.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas. I was looking at Nathan’s cookies and it got me wanting some homemade cookies. I found a recipe for some Peanut Butter cookies that are pretty good. They aren’t as good as Mom’s but they taste pretty decent when they are hot. They get very crumbly when they cool down though.

Well, maybe pretty isn’t the correct word but it is different. I’m talking about my Gallery. Donna sent me an email yesterday about maybe making a theme for our Gallerys so I started playing around and I’ve got a Christmas theme now. It isn’t the greatest but at least it’s red and green.
Today Betty and I went to the Automobile Driving Museum in El Segundo. I know about it because my boss held an anniversary party for 6 people there last month. They have around 60 cars and they pretty much all run. On Sundays you can get a ride in one of the vehicles they have out. Today they had a 1937 Packard that was used back then to do things like take stars to movie premieres. They also had a 57 Chevy, a Studebaker Station Wagon and a Studebaker Avanti but we wanted to ride in the Packard. It was pretty cool
In the museum they have docents walking around who will let you sit in any car there except a few they don’t own. We sat in a few cool ones including a Deloren. See my Gallery for my pics and Betty has some more pictures in her Gallery(or will soon).
I love the TV show Scrubs. My wife rarely watches it but today we found out she has a very close tie to the show. As anyone who watches it knows it takes place at Sacred Heart Hospital which is actually a decommissioned hospital that used to be named North Hollywood Hospital. When I told Betty where it was she said she was pretty sure that’s the same place she was born. We looked on her birth certificate and sure enough the address of NHH is the same as the one they film at. How about that?
Cool! Lakers beat the Suns in Phoenix and the Wildcats beat the Bruins. It doesn’t get much better for Don.
