I love the TV show Scrubs. My wife rarely watches it but today we found out she has a very close tie to the show. As anyone who watches it knows it takes place at Sacred Heart Hospital which is actually a decommissioned hospital that used to be named North Hollywood Hospital. When I told Betty where it was she said she was pretty sure that’s the same place she was born. We looked on her birth certificate and sure enough the address of NHH is the same as the one they film at. How about that?

That is pretty cool! Remember your daughter was actually paid to be in a motion picture!!! Even if it was only $18 and I am the only person who can see me for the split second I am on screen, I am in there! Mark was in Mighty Ducks!

That’s cool. My only claim to fame was when Holloywood came in and turned my home town into the setting for groundhogs day. They still have a celebration every year.

I had to struggle to think of my claim to fame, and for all my descendants as well–descended from Mayflower passenger Richard Warren, and also from Anne Marbury Hutchinson. (And I didn’t have a thing to do with either one–I just came along hundreds of years later!)

Don’t forget … you all are related to Donna Reed. I played George’s wife Mary in “It’s a Wonderful Life”, and then there was my long running TV show with Carl Betz, Shelley Fabares and Paul Peterson.

My kids both love Scrubs. I watched it the first couple of seasons.
