Driving Museum

Today Betty and I went to the Automobile Driving Museum in El Segundo. I know about it because my boss held an anniversary party for 6 people there last month. They have around 60 cars and they pretty much all run. On Sundays you can get a ride in one of the vehicles they have out. Today they had a 1937 Packard that was used back then to do things like take stars to movie premieres. They also had a 57 Chevy, a Studebaker Station Wagon and a Studebaker Avanti but we wanted to ride in the Packard. It was pretty cool

In the museum they have docents walking around who will let you sit in any car there except a few they don’t own. We sat in a few cool ones including a Deloren. See my Gallery for my pics and Betty has some more pictures in her Gallery(or will soon).

  3. I seem to remember Dad bringing home a Packard once. I think he was contemplating buying it. I remember we all went for a ride in it. At least I think I remember it. Mom, do you remember this?

  4. I don’t remember the Packard, but I do remember the Model A. I probably will never have the opportunity to ride in one of those again.
