The newest version of Firefox is out in beta form. It’s not recommended for the masses but if you are adventurous give it a try. I’m using it to write this post so it obviously works. It’s got a few neat, new features but nothing earth shattering.

Are you using the new version exclusively now? Any bugs?
Windows or Linux?

Not exclusively as it didn’t replace 1.5 and I still usually launch from the shortcut. I haven’t seen any bugs yet.
Linux. Didn’t try the Windows version yet.

Ok, I changed the shortcut so it launches 2.0.

The browser is such an important part of the whole computer experience, that I think I’ll wait unti it is formally released. I hate a buggy browsing experience.

I don’t think I would like it either but that hasn’t happened so far. I haven’t noticed one bug yet but of course I don’t know what the Windoze version is like. It’s probably as buggy as the OS. 😉
