That is amazing. A friend of mine is a flight attendant for US Airways but I knew he flys in smaller planes. It was still a little nerve racking until we heard from him.

“Amazing” is an apt description. “Miracle”, of course, is hyperbole. Nothing that happened requires magic to explain it. Excellent engineering created the amazing airplane, and years of training and experience gave the pilot the skills he needed to do what he did. Random chance put the geese in the way, and random chance (and the New York Port Authority) put the tugboats and ferries nearby.
Now, the Cardinals going to the Super Bowl: THAT’S a miracle!
