I’m so happy! I’ve been wanting to get some sort of widget that would put a random picture from my Gallery in the Sidebar. As you can see I now have one. It is a Widget that allows you to put PHP in it and a line I found after much searching on how to get a random picture from Gallery. Now to see if I can get it to put more than 1.

Yeah, and I am able to get more than 1 but I haven’t figured out how to resize it yet. I also want to figure out how to refresh that every 5 or 10 seconds.

I would put it on Joce’s blog too except she’s using Gallery2 which I think has a real Widget. If she wants me to try it on her site I would love to.

And Hegs: If you change themes you will lose that. But if you change to a widgetized theme it will be super easy to get back.

I love the picture thing. I refresh often just to see what will come up. I am amazed at how little both my boys used to be!

I tried to do a similar thing for Joce but ended up toasting her Gallery. Good thing I saved all the pictures so I can reinstall. In one respect it’s kinda good cause now I can install Gallery 1.5 which is what the rest of us have.

I think you need a different theme. At the least you need a widgetized theme I’m pretty sure.
