This is generated from my new weather station in the back yard. It’s just like the one Daryl got for Christmas. I must be a little more of a geek because I’ve already installed the software that updates this every minute.

That’s pretty cool. I need to hook mine up to my computer and post updates on the web too!
This morning it was 19.5 degrees here — the NWS said it was the coldest night in almost 20 years. Some people had broken water pipes in Chandler and Gilbert.

That’s neat. I would love one of those too, just to see the wind speed. I have an outdoor thermometer sensor but that and humidity is all it does. Of course, someone would probably steal it if I set it outside my RV.

It’s colder in AZ right now than in southern California…

It’s colder in Boise than in Anchorage also. Br-r-r all over.

While we’re all feeling cold I took a look at Kenosha’s weather. Today it is supposed to get “up” to 20. That’s from a low of 8. Suddenly I don’t feel as cold.

I added the current weather as a page accessible from one of the tabs at the top of the page. I also put the sensors on the roof and hard wired them so I get updates every 8 seconds instead of the 1-2 minutes it does wireless.

Oops! Looks like I have outdoor temperature in Celsius where windspeed should be. Guess I’ll have to wait to get home to fix it.
