I just switched over to Time Warner 300/20. It costs less than AT&T was charging me for 45.
I’m hoping this will last me at least until Google fiber comes in.

I’m trying to decide if I should be upset I’m not getting 20 up.

Do you notice a difference? I get 60 down, and I don’t think most web servers do any better than that. The difference might be for torrents, and if several people are streaming video at the same time.

It’s hard to say so far. I am torrenting something right now and it went up to 2.1 MB/s which is decent for a torrent but you would think if there were enough peers I could get 10.
I was starting to see some issues when multiple people were streaming so this should fix that.

If Google comes to Tempe with gigabit fiber as they say they might, I’ll probably be all over it…

Are they after you to bundle everything together? That’s usually their “gimmick”.

Just saw Dale’s comment.
Everyone is always after me to bundle.
I switched from DirecTV to Dish a year and a half ago and I still get emails and flyers asking me to switch back. Until they get the Pac 12 network they can keep asking.

You should be up here in the wilds of Canada. I just tested and I am getting:
Download 15.48 Mbps
Upload 0.82 Mbps
And I just upgraded to the faster ADSL
