It’s tough, isn’t it! You want the PAC to do well, but it’s so hard to root for UCLA.
Donna came over to watch the semifinal game against LSU, and we were divided. She was rooting for LSU, and I for UCLA, though both were pretty half-hearted.
That’s about the way I feel. As much as I love to see UCLA lose I hate the way the West Coast is put down and thought inferior. Even if UCLA wins I doubt you’ll hear Dickie Vitale saying anything good about the PAC. It seems like they think a West team winning is a fluke.
I never hear what Vitale says anymore anyway. I find his voice so irritating that I mute the TV when he is the commentator.

I’ve decided to just look forward to next year. This year is a bust any way you look at it.
And I’m with Daryl. I never listen to Vitale anymore. He used to say nice things about UA, but nowadays, it seems as though his paycheck comes from Duke.

I’m less upset about what he says than how he says it. His voice just grates on my nervers.
Loud, opinionated, irritating. Kind of reminds me of Rush Limbaugh! 😉

I was thinking more of Michael Moore, Al Franken, Rob Reiner etc.
