Oh yes we’ve got hail. Right here in The Valley. That starts with H and that rhymes with ummmm, nothing I can think of. Here’s a couple of shots of the hail.
Here’s a close up so you can actually see the pellets.
Snow level is supposed to come down to 1500 feet. I’ll let you know if it gets this low but we are actually closer to 1000 feet.
How about mail, sail, bail for starters, and then there’s quail, fail and on and on. Come on! You are a better poet than that. Just because you have a new grandson, your brain didn’t stop.
We have had rain all day which started about midnight. Never thought any desert rats would be as happy to see it as we all are, after 143 days without.

Except for the fact I was looking to rhyme with “H” and not “hail” you are probably correct. You have seen “The Music Man” right? The line goes, “Yes sir you’ve got trouble….., and that starts with T which rhymes with P and that stands for Pool”.

Sorta like orange, huh? (Nothing rhymes with it.)

We got snow in this valley. At least up north in Cave Creek they did. 4 inches of it.
Just lots of rain here. I saw that in Queen Creek where Brian and Carrie live they got 3.5″ of rain yesterday.

I just saw a picture on tv of snow in the hills above Malibu! That’s very unusual but of course none got down there or here for that matter. I have heard the higher valleys like Santa Clarita and Newhall got some.
Glad to hear Phoenix is finally over it’s dry spell.

Robin says they have NOT gotten new snow for about a week. It’s all in your perspective, right?

We had snow on the beach in Santa Cruz!
Don, I had the pleasure of meeting my friend Jimmie of The Sundries Shack. We were on a panel at the geek gathering in Austin, South By Southwest. Jimmie is as conservative as I am feminist-liberal, and we spoke on how we conduct our blog conversations with respect and civility.
There will be posts on our blogs once everyone recovers from this conference. For myself, I will never drink tequila again.
Cheers.

Grace, For some reason Akismet(WordPress Spaminator) thought your comment was spam. I’m glad I checked before it auto deleted it.
Did you also get snow at your house? We never saw any here but all around the outskirts of LA and low lying hills got some.
Really glad to hear about your conversation with Jimmie. I try to keep insults to a minimum but have not commented on your blog in a while because I’m like a lightning rod there. I rarely get called “wishy washy”. 😉
