We watched this the other night. Sophomoric, silly, stupid, and way more 4 letter words than any movie needs to have. That said I enjoyed a few parts of it. I’ve been a John Cusack fan since Better Off Dead and One Crazy Summer.
They actually got a line from BOD that cracked me up. If you’ve ever seen that one you’ll remember the line “I want my 2 dollars!”.
If you don’t care for silly movies you should probably steer clear of this.
I thought the same about this movie too, Don. It had some good reviews and I also like John Cusack. But it would have been embarrassing to see it with any family.

Last night we watched “I Love You Beth Cooper”. It was better that HTTM but not as good as many of the same genre. Hayden Panettiere was about the only good actor in the movie. It was typical nerd loves girl. Girl’s boyfriend beats nerd. Nerd gets girl. But with a few twists and turns thrown in.
It was okay and worth the hour and a half.

I see “The Flyboys” coming up in your queue. That was a great little movie. The producers did it on a shoestring, but could never get a studio to release it for them. They tried releasing it in a few theaters themselves hoping it would catch on, but without any advertisements, it didn’t make it. Too bad, because Glenda and I loved it and would have liked to have seen these producers get a break so they could make more family movies like this.
