We planted a garden a few weeks ago. Ok, Patrick planted 90% of it but I helped. Ok, I didn’t help much but I did buy the soil and the plants.
If you recall from last year we planted a garden and the earwigs immediately ate most of it. All that survived last year was the tomatoes and peas. This year we planted all kinds of stuff and dusted with Sevin every few days.
All of the plants seem to be surviving the bugs. A couple of them died for some unknown reason but we hope everything else keeps going.
I’ve posted pictures in my gallery.
Wow! Things look great. It seems that they look a little dry, but the way they are growing, you know what you are doing. You were always the best gardner in the family.

I took the photos right before we watered.

Gardens are nice to have, but I don’t have the patience or interest to take care of them. I barely get my lawn mowed every month or so (and it shows). Good thing we have a yard service on the front, or we would be kicked out of the association.
I take my hat off to people who can keep a garden through to the harvest.

I love, love, LOVE fresh grown vegetables. Wish I was close enough to take some of them off your hands when they are ready to harvest. Good luck! (And pictures of plants are much nicer than pictures of drag cars.)

Am I the only one in the fam that is picky about what vegies I eat? The basic corn, peas, beans and a few others are eaten by me mainly because I know they are supposed to be good for me. I think Karen will eat any vegatable known to man, some I can’t begin to even pronounce or spell!

Dale. You’re not the only one. Except for corn and maybe green beans, you can keep the rest. Remember when you and I used to eat ear after ear of corn on the cob? How many did we eat? It was a bunch!

There are only a few veggies I don’t care for. Not a fan of spinach or kale or for that matter any of the weed family. I like most others.
