The Ten Commandments According to Obama

After observing Obama on the campaign trail and during his first six months in office, we have concluded that our President lives and governs according to his own set of “Ten Commandments.” They’re certainly NOT the Ten Commandments you learned in Sunday School. In fact, many are the direct opposite! To prove that our conclusions are correct, you will find a link to source documentation for each commandment on the Patriot Update web site.
I. Thou shalt have no God in America, except for me. For we are no longer a Christian nation and, after all, I am the chosen One. (And like God, I do not have a birth certificate.) SOURCE
II. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, unless it is my face carved on Mt. Rushmore. SOURCE
III. Thou shalt not utter my middle name in vain (or in public). Only I can say Barack Hussein Obama. SOURCE
IV. Remember tax day, April 15th, to keep it holy. SOURCE
V. Honour thy father and thy mother until they are too old and sick to care for. They will cost our public-funded health-care system too much money. SOURCE
VI. Thou shalt not kill, unless you have an unwanted, unborn baby. For it would be an abomination to punish your daughter with a baby. SOURCE
VII. Thou shalt not commit adultery if you are conservative or a Republican. Liberals and Democrats are hereby forgiven for all of their infidelity and immorality, but the careers of conservatives will be forever destroyed. SOURCE
VIII. Thou shalt not steal, until you’ve been elected to public office. Only then is it acceptable to take money from hard-working, successful citizens and give it to those who do not work, illegal immigrants, or those who do not have the motivation to better their own lives. SOURCE
IX. Thou shalt not discriminate against thy neighbor unless they are conservative, Caucasian, or Christian. SOURCE
X. Thou shalt not covet because it is simply unnecessary. I will place such a heavy tax burden on those that have achieved the American Dream that, by the end of my term as President, nobody will have any wealth or material goods left for you to covet. SOURCE
Gee, it’s been so long since you have complained about Obama that I thought you had begun to like him!
This article is so full of lies and smears that it’s amusing. For example, the Mount Rushmore item. All that happened is that he went to visit it, someone asked if he would like to be up there, and he laughed that his ears were too big.
The birth certificate conspiracy theory has been killed many times.
And on and on.

Like him? No, I’m not a fan of any Fascists.
Of course it’s full of smears, that’s what people on the right do to politicians on the left and vice versa.
No, the birth certificate “conspiracy” has not been killed. It’s still going strong. There are lots of people like yourself who accept anything the Obama team says as gospel. Kind of like those people who love Bush.

I don’t like people on either side smearing people on any side. To me a “smear” is lying to support your beliefs, accentuating weaknesses, ignoring strengths. This is dishonest and dishonorable, and no way to face the world. If your case has merit, it should stand on its own without requiring lies or exaggerations.
Regarding the birth certificate, both FactCheck.org and Politifact have given ample evidence that Obama has a valid US birth certificate. Continuing to object in the face of this is like doubting the Holocaust or Moon Landings.
Why didn’t anybody insist on seeing John McCain’s birth certificate — oh wait, he was born in Panama. Well, how about his parent’s birth certificates, to prove they were citizens at the time? Nobody cares. It’s a trumped up charge.
Why do you keep implying that I worship Obama? He does a lot of things I disagree with. He talks about God too much. He was going to release prisoner photos, then changed his mind. He promised to repeal “Don’t ask, don’t tell”, and hasn’t. He has stalled on closing Guantanamo. I don’t like all his appointees. He’s flat-out wrong when he says we import more oil today than ever before. The deficit and its projections are pretty frightening.
I hardly worship him, but I think he’s doing a much better job than Bush did to raise our prestige in the world. I applaud his efforts to improve the health care system. Although he talks about God too much, at least he has stated that “The US is not a Christian Country” (as John Adams and Thomas Jefferson did many years ago in the Treaty of Tripoli). Contrast that with Bush believing that God talked to him and directed his actions. Now that’s scary!
Hyperbolic words like “Fascist” hardly add credence to your case. From Wikipedia:
Fascists believe that nations and/or races are in perpetual conflict whereby only the strong can survive by being healthy, vital, and by asserting themselves in conflict against the weak. Fascists advocate the creation of a single-party state. Fascist governments forbid and suppress criticism and opposition to the government and the fascist movement. Fascism opposes class conflict, blames capitalist liberal democracies for its creation and communists for exploiting the concept.
Does that sound like Obama?
Fascists oppose communism and socialism, yet you like to call Obama a socialist. He can’t be both.
Dislike him, hate him, whatever. But do it for valid reasons and with the truth.

Yes, the definition of Fascist is what I see Obama doing. He’s doing it quietly and trying to keep the media from noticing what he’s doing. Of course I’m not sure they would care as they most all worship Obama. I actually used that same paragraph to make my point on another forum even though I dislike using Wikipedia as my source. On that one I think it’s pretty good.
I originally thought Obama was a Socialist but now I believe it’s mainly the Democrats that are the Socialists. Obama has a different agenda but he’s going to help the Dems get a lot of the Socialist ideas working before he starts moving to Fascism.
On the birth certificate issue I believe it’s quite likely that Obama is legal but to suggest it’s “settled” and then cite a leftwing site like factcheck.org, well, you should find some sites that aren’t biased.
Alan Keyes, a fairly respected politician thinks it’s not settled. Attorney Philip J. Berg doesn’t think it’s settled. I don’t know but it’s not “settled”. Maybe in your mind but not in the courts.
I think Obama has already bankrupted our country. You can’t spend like he is without having a huge affect on our kids and grandkids. This country will be in debt from this until Liam is mom’s age.

Except for the first line in the definition above he’s pretty much done it of all. He fired the CEO of GM. If that’s not a Fascist trait I don’t know what is.

A slight exaggeration that has been repeated so often it is taken as truth. Obama didn’t “fire” him; he asked him to resign and he agreed. It probably amounts to the same thing; I don’t know if he had any choice.
But it seems to me that if the company wants billions of dollars from any entity, they are going to have to accept some oversight from that entity too. It happens between companies all the time: One company will buy a big piece of another company, but in return will be able to make management restructuring decisions. Does that make the purchasing company a Fascist?
I would expect that when (if) GM gets back to profitability and they pay the government back that they will regain their independence.
That falls pretty far short of “Fascist” in my book. Is it the best and only example you can come up with?

How about government ownership of the banks? How about government run health care? How about the fact the left wing congress and senate are trying to make it easier to outlaw guns? There are a lot more but it wouldn’t make any difference to you because you’re a wee bit Socialist and don’t mind what’s happening. Fascism is just Socialism taken to extremes. And Obama is about as extreme as they get.
