We’re going to Carlsbad this weekend to see Heather, Mark, and Camden. I’m not sure what there is to do in Carlsbad but we were told to bring swimsuits. I do know it’s close to my favorite restaraunt chain, The Fish Market. It’s the best place to go if you like great fish. I was introduced to it when I used to go to the San Jose area for work back in the late 80’s. My favorite is swordfish but they make a great cioppino. That’s probably what I’ll have since you can get good swordfish many places but good cioppino is hard to find.

I don’t recall where Hadleys is located between here and Calrsbad. There’s one out east on the 10 and I know there’s one on the 8 between San Diego and Yuma.

While in Carlsbad I discovered that Hadley’s has closed!! So I went to Harry and David and got Gma some crystalized ginger. Not sure if it is the same or not.
