It was the largest quake we’ve had since the 1999 Landers/Big Bear and it was felt by a lot of people. We had a few pictures fall but the funniest thing I think I’ve ever seen was these bananas that got peeled by the shaking.

Glad none of YOU got peeled!
I’m in Santa Clara today through Thursday. Please don’t send any quakes up this way! I’m happy putting up with the Phoenix heat, but earthquakes … uh uh. That’s why I don’t live here!

Devon was near the epicenter, driving to lunch at the time. He was stopped at a red light, and thought someone was shaking his car, until he realized that all the cars around him were shaking.
He’s on his way home right now to see if his TV fell off the stand.

I talked to Devon right after the quake on ICQ. He seemed to like his first one.
