On Sunday we had planned to go to the Antelope Valley Poppy Reserve but we realized it would be very crowded due to the Poppy Festival that weekend. Betty has always wanted to go to Descanso Gardens so we went there instead. Here’s a pretty picture I took.

I would imagine this time of year is the best time to go! We are starting to leave Spring for Summer as the temp heat up with talk of triple digits next weekend.

You have always taken wonderful pictures of Nature. These are as great as any professional could do. Beautiful! (But I am sure that I would sneeze around so many roses!)

Poppies, and most other wild flowers are all done blooming here in southern Arizona. Wish we had a little longer season.
