Experience immigrated to America in 1623 on the third ship from Leydon to Plymouth, the Anne. He was one of the people in Lot 1, along with John Cooke, when the cows and goats were equally divided in Plymouth on May 22, 1627. He was one of the Purchasers and on the 1633 Freeman list. He later moved to Duxbury and was there by 1639/40. He was a highway surveyor and served on various juries. On June 7, 1659, he was fined ten shillings for refusing to serve on the grand jury. When his will was written, he was living in the town of Bridgewater. He also owned land in Middlebury.
