She was born 28 June 1878 in Willing, daughter of B.F. and DeFrancis Graves FISH. In 1903 she married Harry Foster, who died five years later. On August 30, 1914, she married Clair GRAVES. Surviving besides her husband, is a step-daughter, Mrs. Sally Wellbery of Rochester, NY. She and Clair GRAVES were married on the same day that Mabel FRAIR and Wm. Earl BRIGGS were. She was superstitious and would not have a "double wedding", so one couple was married first, with the others as attendants, and then they reversed places. They went on their honeymoon together to Niagara Falls. |
