Another record lists henrie's wife as Sarah GORE , and her father as Sir John GORE, an alderman in London.

Glen Owen Briggs Supplied the information that Henry Briggs was the parent of John Briggs. He got the information from a William L. Allen who was living in Farmington, NY in 2000. He connected us to Henry and John Briggs. William Allen is a descendant of Robert Briggs, (1778-?) and Glen Owen and Elizabeth Werner are descended from his older brother William Briggs, (1765-?) William and Robert were sons of Job Briggs b. 1738, and Mary (Mercy) Estes.
