I think it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s time to recall our mayor. I wasn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t real crazy about him when he got elected and I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m even less so after last week. Some would say I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m a racist but I don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t think race has anything to do with why I want him out.<\/p>\n
As most of you heard, last week we had a protest demonstration in Los Angeles that was estimated at 500,000 or more. They weren\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t protesting the war, they were protesting our government\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s plan to turn a crime that is currently a misdemeanor into a felony.<\/p>\n
I understand why they cross our borders. I understand that Mexico isn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t the greatest place to bring up your family but there is a legal process to come to this country. Following that process became so much more improtant after 9\/11. There are thousands and thousands who want to see every man, woman, and child in this country dead. Nothing would give them more joy. That\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s why we must protect our borders and know who we are letting in. That\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s why it must be a crime to cross the border.<\/p>\n
But what about Antonio you ask. What did he do? Well, he was the greeter to these 500,000 people. He stood on the steps of City Hall and told these people they were right and that he agrees with them. In other words our mayor told people he thinks it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s ok to break the law if you don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t agree with that law. Did I mention he was a member of Mecha<\/a>? Mecha is an orginazation who\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s primary purpose is to take back(liberate) Aztlan. Of course Aztlan includes California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, and parts of a few other states.<\/p>\n And now he\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s the mayor of the second largest city in the US.
