They said, &#8220;If you would like to see some rare weather for LA go look outside.  It&#8217;s hailing.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>We went to the front of the store and sure enough it was hailing pretty heavy.  We watched for a few minutes and it got heavier.  We finally got into the car because it wasn&#8217;t slowing down.
